Riverlife celebrated the launch of Allegheny Pale Ale with 350 guests at Penn Brewery. The event was part of our Friends of the Fountain campaign.

The weather was perfect on Thursday, April 15th as hundreds of Pittsburghers gathered in the historic Penn Brewery courtyard to raise a glass to Penn’s new Allegheny Pale Ale. Sales of APA throughout the coming year will benefit Riverlife’s Friends of the Fountain campaign to repair and renovate the Point State Park Fountain.

Penn Brewery President Tom Pastorius and Riverlife Executive Director Lisa Schroeder unveiled the beer’s new label, which features a shot of the downtown Pittsburgh skyline and the Fountain front and center.
