A sure bet: private development embracing riverfront access.

  • The casino riverfront amphitheater extends this riverfront destination to the water’s edge with a multiuse tiered green space.

  • Rivers Casino recognized that riverfront access was a key asset to the project site, and embraced the concept during the planning and design phase with the inclusion of an amphitheater and walkway at the river’s edge.

Overview

Rivers Casino is an inspiring example of what happens when private development takes shape as part of the master plan guidelines for Three Rivers Park.

Completed in 2009 by Gaming Holdings, Rivers Casino has already become a landmark destination for area residents and visitors alike.  The design includes a riverfront promenade, outdoor amphitheater facing the Ohio River, sensitive riverfront lighting plan and docks for boat access.

The casino’s award-winning design by Pittsburgh-based Strada also incorporates an innovative stormwater management approach, celebrating the transition of water from rain to river, and ultimately improving the water quality of the rivers.

By collaborating with Riverlife to reach compromises and solutions throughout the construction of the project, Rivers Casino has become a fantastic addition to Three Rivers Park, and Gaming Holdings a contributing partner in planning for the next phases of riverfront development on the North Shore.
